Managing Difficult Emotions

Does it seem like your emotions are a little overwhelming? Like when they’re bad, they’re really bad? If so, this workshop is for you.  You will learn multiple tools to begin to reduce the intensity of them. These include:

  • identifying emotions you struggle with and differentiating primary versus secondary emotions
  • understanding how emotions work and how you can change them in the moment
  • mindfulness exercises to help center yourself when getting overwhelmed
  • learning how physical health effects your emotions
  • learning ways to prevent future occurences of extreme emotional reactions/experiences

Tolerating Stress

Sometimes we get to the point of too much. And at this point it gets hard to think of ways to find some calm.   Let this workshop help you with that!

You will learn:

  • skills to cope with distressful moments
  • how to reduce stress in the moment using mindfulness
  • relaxation techniques
  • tips to finding a better balance in life to prevent stress
