Managing Difficult Emotions
Does it seem like your emotions are a little overwhelming? Like when they’re bad, they’re really bad? If so, this workshop is for you. You will learn multiple tools to begin to reduce the intensity of them. These include:
- identifying emotions you struggle with and differentiating primary versus secondary emotions
- understanding how emotions work and how you can change them in the moment
- mindfulness exercises to help center yourself when getting overwhelmed
- learning how physical health effects your emotions
- learning ways to prevent future occurences of extreme emotional reactions/experiences
